Die Kirche Gross Sankt Martin in Köln

Sie ist eine der 12 romanischen Kirchen in Köln und wurde bis ca. 1250 vollendet. Bis zur Fertigstellung des Kölner Domes 1880 war der mächtige Vierungsturm das markante Wahrzeichen am Rheinufer. Im Krieg erlitt diese Kirche schwere Zerstörungen, so dass der Turm erst 1965 und das Kirchenschiff 1985 wieder aufgebaut werden konnten. Heute ist es keine eigenständige Pfarrei, sondern wird von Ausländergemeinden genutzt.
