This is a very beautiful photo, indeed. Black and White (or monochrome) has a fascination of its own and to my opinion it requires an higher level of technical skill. With colours it is easier to hide some technical faults, the eyes are captured by colours, by a landscape or a flower vivid colours, only at a later stage re-examining a shot you realize if it's also good from the technical point of view. But with Black and White, there is no excuse.....you can see suddenly if a shot has atmosphere, good combinations of lights and shadows, elegance in chromatism and this is the case of your photo. A very BIG BRAVO for this photo full of pathos and feeling.Paola
