Weite Sand- und Schotterwüste im Zentralhochland. ca 70 km lang und bis zu 30 km breit.
Meist ab mitte Juli befahrbar, nachdem die Schmelzwasser versickert sind.
Flüsse können jedoch Anfang des Sommers oder nach starken Regenfällen anschwellen und die Furten schwer passierbar machen.
