Farewell to Maui 2008

Atop the Haleakala at 8,500 feet ASL, the clouds gather well below our feet, giviing the entire scenery a rather stupendous feeling of being on top of the world! Despite this being the "dry" season, the landscape still yields a unique beauty, incorporating thousands of shades of colors, vegetation and a deafening silence interrupted only by the voices of the thrilled visitors.

I know how difficult it is to say "good-bye" when you fell in love with a place..Maui is one of the paradises on the earth and you are so lucky to be there..Thanks for all the images you have shared and for this lovely one too Stefan..Fantastic POV, amazing sky..
