The rain has just stopped and as the mist is gradually lifting, being pushed away by the after storm breeze, shrouds the top of the old Byzantine walls of the city.
The three girls couldn't wait any more for a nice stroll...

Good capture! Three girls fading away in the fog. What will happen when they disappear in the castle? Could be the setting for a Hitchcock movie!

: ))) it's a sleeping-beauty reality show! which of the girls will find the old woman with the spindle first and succeed in pricking her finger on it to fall into a quick 100-year sleep, then – KISSS! – come out of it restored and as the new owner of a heavenly castle, a kingdom, possibly a car and all kinds of other promotion gifts, too… oh, and a prince of course! brave new speed dating world… ; )) sorry, just kidding, don't mind me, alexander! it's a beautiful and very atmospherical image of the thessaloniki old-town fortress! the fog and monochrome rendering suit the three graces well! greetings, sabine. p.s.: love the look of the wet tile walk – it seems to lead a life of its own…

How disappointing... before I read your explanation I was certain the three girls were about to disappear in the fog (for good?:)) and it was the last picture of them:)) Anyway, I love the mood of the shot and the compo is also great.
