My daughter went to see Waffle (mums cat) in the garden and found she was playing with this bumblebee so I took Waffle indoors and she moved the bee to a safer place away from furry predators! Waffle came straight back outside to find the bee but where had the bee gone??!!! It was here a minute ago.....?!

beautiful portrait of both your daughter and the bumble bee! the bumblebee will have a lot to tell her relatives and friends when she gets home – legends of beautiful giants with gentle faces and turquoise shirts rescuing her from a ferocious jade-eyed predator ; ))! greetings, sabine.

Oh, you have a lovely young lady for a daughter .... a very pretty portrait of her, and I like the story ... yes, the bee is safe and Waffle too - I remember our dog being bitten on the nose - so painful for him.
hugs, Adele

Well done for rescuing the bee. I have seen lots at work, wasps too. I thought they were out early for the time of year, but seeing your picture they probably aren't.
