On the Pilgrim's Paths

	Pilgrimages : share your photographs from a spiritual journey and from an internal experience on the trails of Saint Jacques or on other faith paths in Europe. Grab the moment between walk and visit of religious monuments, between solitary meditation and communal ritual. These photos will be exhibited in the scope of the premier virtual exposition showcasing the five linguistic versions of fotocommunity. In February 2007 part of these images will be taken with high quality support and exhibited at a tangible exposition in the salon Ecclesia de Cologne.

This contest is in cooperation with the Nordic Light festival in Kristiansund/ Norway. fotocommunity's users will vote for the best 10 pictures, which then will be exhibited in our Internet-cafe on the festival. The winner-photo will be chosen by our visitors there! - one upload per user - anonymous upload, no signature, no copyrights - no nudes, please! By taking part in this contest you agree to send us a printable version of your photo (30x20 cm / 40x30 cm; 300 dpi;) until August, 23rd 2006 for display at the Nordic Light Festival. Photoproject Exercises: Arrangement

	Here is a new project for users who want to improve their knowledge in photography together with other users, develop new ideas about photography and share their experience with users who are not that deep involved yet. We will keep this section open for two weeks for uploads (up to two each user) until we select something new for the next two weeks. Our first project is abbout arranging a photo. You know that everything is allowed, break every rule do whatever you want, but remain within the following limitations: - you may only photograph arrangements of -- one cup (filled with a fluid or not) -- one saucer -- one teaspoon - background has to be uni - nothing more than the three items mentioned above on the photo (except background) - slight manipulation with editing software is allowed, but no \\\\\\\"extreme use of filters\\\\\\\" - only available light / no flashes Uload will be closed at July 25th, voting will continue until August 1st. There is nothing to win within this project except honor, self improvement and new friends from all over the world ... :-)
