On the way from Cape Town to Cape Good Hop
Leaving behind Cape Town waterfront and travelling towards the southest tip of the continent, the Cape Good Hope, among the many other fascinating things to come across with, is the variety of wild life species enjoying the pleasure and safety of their natural environment . And they don't look to worry at all for the extreme and sudden tropical weather changes, something very common in those regions.
Rocks with seals, cormorans and penguins coexisting is very interesting to watch from very close enough... In this photo a seal colony.

beautiful!! an impressive example of how harmonious nature can look, if man stays out of the picture! ; ) the seals – so well adapted to their surroundings! the way they are snuggled up to each other, covering almost the entire rock… it reminds me of barnacles! and so beautiful, how the two color variations – fuzzy brown when dried and sleek black, when just coming out of the water –, match the colors the kelp (brown) and the weathered edge of the rock (black). a great wildlife shot, alexander! both interesting and very aesthetic (layers and layers of blue, brown, black and gray!) at the same time! greetings, sabine. p.s.: there's always one trying to stand out from the crowd! mr. light beige (to the left) is making eye-contact and posing for your camera!Mirjam Burer 27/09/2015 16:02

A superb capture of life as it is where the rugged land meets the turbulent sea and overhead the storm clouds gather.......It must have been so amazing to see.
