Not only is the humble potato a staple part of our diet
[as chips in Holland :)) ] but it also looks 'pretty' as it grows. A peaceful scene.....and great to see a crop that will feed us and not some damn car....or whatever :))))

The view of blooming potato fields takes me back some 45-50 years to the time when my family home was in the countryside..

Very nice composition of the potato field blooming....just love the little ''new potatoes'' when they first come out of the ground...I used to follow my grandpaw when he was digging them up and he would throw me one now and then and I would just rub off the dirt and eat them.....thanks for the memories, den
