Karpathos is one of the biggest islands in the Dodecanesian complex of Aegean Sea. At first sight looks rather unfriendly characterized by bulky mountainous shores and rough interior land with very few and moderate roads to cross it. But with a good 4x4 vehicle and,especially,a boat to sail around and discover its inumerable hiden beaches one can get a more than ample speciment of the pleasure and the beauties this island has to offer.
