Being in Chile,a visit to Valparaiso is a must.Valparaiso is one of the most picturesque cities not only in Chile but in South America also. Not a single book of sea and pirate adventure misses to mention it's harbour as center of ilegal exchange, profane female exploitation and slavery trade. It's old quarter is a tresor of little streets, picturesque houses and beautiful colours..
While visiting the beautiful house of the poet Pablo Nerouda, now a museum of history and litterature, I got a glimpse of a portion of that old quarter as it was framed by an opened window and I can assure you it looked to me much more fascinating than many other items in the room....
