This is not far from moments when we tell someone that their child looks like someone living, or passed in a polite conversation. One day my cousin in Chicago turned to me celebrating the new life of his daughter. He turned to me and said in a serious gentile tone, that he looked in his child’s eyes and saw my mother’s spirit in her looking out at him. My mother had come to rest and reincarnate in his new child. Sometimes we can't let go, and always find signs of the dearly departed within other people and moments along the journey of our life. I wondered did the Doll Man really believe this, or for this long period just became apart of the enactment, or rituals and semi pre-christian spirituality performed by his beloved Neighbors.
