standing on a high "bridge" looking way down - in the Central Branch of the Vancouver Public Library ... I was less dizzy when I took the photo than I am now looking at it - guess it wasthe concentration :-))))
Ein faszinierender Blick nach unten, bei dem mir wohl schwindelig geworden wäre, tolle Bildwirkung auch durch den diagonalen Bildaufbau!!!

oooh, yes, it does give one vertigo! i think it's because in this case one starts exploring the picture on the upper story of the left side, with the row of empty chairs, and and then automatically lets his eyes slide all the way down to the table and chairs at the very bottom, where even two tiny people sit, absorbed in their studies: it's like a feigned fall that way!! scary!!! hugs, sabine.
A great shot of what must be a very fine library. Do they also have a computer section for people who don't have their own PC, as where we live they provide this service now, as fewer people are unfortunatley reading books these days.
best wishes from Lawson.
a dizzying perspective and great dof!
i wonder, if the person below pops off instantly if your your camera slips from your fingers and lands on his head accidentally... i remember seeing protective screens having been installed to prevent such accidents, albeit theoretically
Nach solchen Motiven muss man(n) lange suchen -dann die Perspektive festlegen evtl. nochmal wiederkommen, denn auf dem PC wirkt es anders als auf der (kl.) Cam -oder die Fotogräfin hat ganz einfach das Talent

wooohooo...I could not take that shot.....shooting downward, put it is a super perspective and I love the added color of the purple chair cushions!
Have a great week Adele!
The view down to the little family is great.
How I would enjoy to zoom this image, to take a look at mother and children in their activities.
Definitely it is right and important for children to become acquainted with books and a public library.
hugs
