This is a small cove adjacent to Partington Cove about 50 miles south of Big Sur on the California coast. You must hike 0.8 km from the road to see it. I first visited it in 1959.

It's so strange how much complicated, yet fascinating, can sometimes be the shapes and forms of mother earth. There's an amazing abstraction existing in your picture (seems like God is the only real artist, huh?), full of surreal details and colors. Will never get used to this visual miracle...
