Ok, so tell me what were your settings for this shot? My firework shots didnt turn out this good. Whats your secret?

There is no secret.
Use a tripod, adjust the shutter speed (4sec. for the picture above) and that's all.
I used a Sigma 70-300 on my D70 at 190mm. (F5)
and spent 2 mins.with Photoshop for some sharpen adjustements.
