RAF Battle of Britain Memorial
This memorial has been built on the London Embankment near to the Houses of Parliament. It is a most striking statue and shows RAF pilots scrambling for action. The figues are almost life size and bring the hairs on the back of your neck up. It commemorates the pilots who died during the Battle of Britain.+
