The Living Forest (39) : Common Bluebell
The Common Bluebell blooms april/may with lavender-blue, bell-shaped flowers .
In spring, some Belgian woods are covered by dense carpets of this flower; these are commonly referred to as "bluebell woods".
Dutch name : Wilde Hyacint (syn. Boshyacint)
German name : Atlantische Hasenglöckchen
Latin name : Hyacinthoides non-scripta
