Rainbow Falls - 1

This is part 1 of a series of 3 fotos of Rainbow Falls, located in the NW section of Hilo, just below the hospital. If you get there on a sunny day around 10:00 in the morning, there will be a rainbow in the mist at the bottom of the falls.

Although we've had around 42 inches (106 cm.) of rain this month, we've had none in the last week, so the stream is a bit smaller than it was a week or so ago. On the other hand, when it's raining, the sun is not shining so there's no rainbow. I'll take the rainbow.
