Very well seen Ludvig, and an excellent close-up, the detail in its eye is really good. The pic made me smile....I had this mental picture of you crawling about on all fours in the long grass, ardently searching for such creatures :))))

Sue, he he, you are pretty correct about the "mental picture" of the situation! And, as the grasshopper was trying to hide away from me, I was actually crawling about to get the shot. Dirty, very hot and unpractical, but well worth it!

In my experience very few shots that are worthwhile come without sacrifice! If you had to crawl on all fours to get this one, I'm sure it was worth it. The result is great.
