Each spring, the Large Red Damselfly is mostly the first damselfly to emerge (usually from late april).
The shot shows a female specimen.
Dutch name : Vuurjuffer (ook Rode Waterjuffer genoemd)
German name : Frühe Adonislibelle (auch Frühe Adonisjungfer genannt)
Latin name : Pyrrhosoma nymphula

Oh, was für eine prächtige Libelle und so wunderbar von dir aufgenommen! Das Licht und die SChärfe sind super! Das kräftig grüne Blatt ist so schön von der Sonne angeleuchtet - die Libelle genießt hier die Wärme...
