Moth? Butterfly?

Does anyone know? Ive seen it only twice and ive never seen it fly, it just sits there...

    A butterfly. All butterflies have a type of ball at the end of the antennae. Moths do not, they often have segmented or furry antennae. This is a really pretty shot with the blue flowers. -archie
