The Living Forest (91) : Rowan
In autumn, the bright red berries of the Rowan are an important food resource for many birds (especially Redwing, Fieldfare, Blackbird, Mistle Thrush, Waxwing) which in turn disperse the seeds in their droppings back to nature.
