In winter fungi are rare, but they do exist, like this Brown Flesh Bracket that I spotted during my winter hike on the ‘Kalmthoutse Heide’ (one of the greatest National Parks of Belgium).

Brown Flesh Bracket is a rare fungus that in whole or in part is covered with a fine hispid felt.
Can be parasitic on apple trees in orchards !
