The Fungi World (120) : Scurfy Twiglet

This is the last stage of a Scurfy Twiglet, a fungus that likes to grow on twigs and woody debris, like sticks, bark, wood chips and sawdust.
It can be found during a non-typical fungus period, from january till august.

This species undergoes a colour change during his lifetime : flesh-colored when mature, brownish yellow when old, pale white just before dying.
