The Fungi world (69) : Girdled webcap
Girdled webcap is a rare fungus species but a beautiful one, at least to my taste.
With a bit of fantasy, this picture makes me think of a couple in love watching their children playing in the distance…….
Dutch name : Gegordelde gordijnzwam
German name : Natternstieliger Schleimfuss
Latin name : Cortinarius trivialis

Oh yes, they do look like a loving couple, and I see the tiny ones in the background. Beautiful indeed, like guilded bronze and with fantastic detailed stems.A very fine capture, Mark!
