The edible St. Georges Mushroom is considered a delicacy, especially when fried in butter, but can also be eaten raw.
However, I prefer to leave it where it belongs : in the forest !
Dutch name : Voorjaarspronkridder
German name : Mairitterling (auch Maipilz genannt)
Latin name : Calocybe gambosa

Hallo Mark,ich habe von einem sehr guten Pilzkenner gerade diese Info erhalten.Ich möchte dich bitten den Text unter deinem Bild zu ändern,es handelt sich um einen sehr giftigen Knollenblätterpilz.Da ist der Verzehr tötlich.LG fred
Das ist kein Mairitterling.
Soweit es sich ab Foto sagen lässt, könnte es sich sogar um einen tödlichen Grünen Knollenblätterpilz handeln, auch wenn der Hut bräunlich ist.
Kannst Du das vielleicht mal als Warnung unter das Bild schreiben?

Very nice, natural colours, picking mushrooms was my hobby, now I think taking pictures of them gives me more satisfaction.Nice shot.
