    The Lake District, also known as The Lakes or Lakeland, is a rural area in North West England. A popular holiday destination, it is famous for its lakes and its mountains .
    Wast Water or Wastwater is a lake in the Lake District National Park, England. The lake is approximately 4.6 kilometres (almost 3 miles) long and 600 metres (more than a third of a mile) wide, and is located in the Wasdale valley. It is the deepest lake in England, at 79 metres (258 feet), and is owned by the National Trust.

    What really makes it for me in addition to what the others has mentioned, is the road curling into thr landscape... i think it gives such an extre feeling of depth in the picture, and helps putting the perspective right...btw, is this a long exposure? something tells me it is....
