For many years this fruit tree has given the best of himself by producing lots of fruit and purifying the air with oxygen for humanity.

Now he's old and worn, retired and lonesome, but still standing proudly as a beautiful natural monument in the countryside, waiting for……the chainsaw !

Es ist ein schönes Bild mit dem alten Baum, aber vielleicht schlägt er doch noch aus, manche alte Apfersorten sind sehr spätreif und die Bäume werden erst im Lauf des Juni langsam grün, vielleicht bleibt ihm die Kettensäge dann auch noch erspart. Mir tut es auch immer wieder leid, wenn diese Methusalems weichen müssen.

Ein feiner Bildschnitt und der Baum bekommt dadurch einen wunderbaren Platz in Deiner feinen Aufnahme!
Vielleicht bleibt ihm ja die Kettensäge noch erspart und viele Insekten, Moose und Pilze finden hier einen Ort, der ihnen das gibt, was sie brauchen!

a very picturesque landscape - the tree although not bearing any more fruit, still giving lots of life to your image ..... and maybe it will be allowed to just slowly become one with the earth.

This is an old pear tree . It sometimes lives 100 years.
