This is a very typical landscape of the countryside of Flanders (in Belgium) : wherever 2 country roads meet each other, you will nearly always find a chapel.

I totally agree with your remark.
The original shot was made with the whole crossing in the picture, but I cropped it off because it was too much overexposed.

But maybe it was better to make some steps behind, to get the hole crossing of the roads in view. Just a suggestion :-))
