Alone in Pike
This is part of the Fountain Formation in Colorado, along with Garden of the Gods, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and Roxborough Park. This rock though, stands alone in a more remote area in Pike National Forest. I came to this area, as I have many times in the past to photograph the sunset, but as soon as we approached the area, clouds move in! I loved the dark blue sky against the red of the rock.
