our minibus driver wondered why I would want to take a photo but slowed down nevertheless to let me take it out of the open window.

Your bus-driver's astonishment was quite right, at least what is concerning this particular spot.Cartagena is a jewel in the Caribean area.
I do like your series. If ever, your Powershot is giving up
pls. try Panasonic - LUMIX - Leica: smaller, better and
a pleasure when it comes to results. Suddenly, you move towards perfection !

you've already shown us so many different faces of cartagena – and now finally a beautiful beach!! a city that really has it all ; ))… must have been very early in the morning, though, with the vendors preparing for the day (i see sunglasses on display ; ))…) and the sandy beach still almost deserted and looking so inviting – bet it will be packed with tourists and lunchcrowds soon! hugs, sabine.Franzi48 14/06/2011 19:51
