Certainly, it is a chameleon! But on the box where it sat, has been written "Helmbasilisk". I have simply relied on the knowledge of organizers of the exhibition and have trusted in them. But my son at once has recognized, that it is a chameleon:)

a natural gem!! the turquoise colors of the chameleon's skin are very beautiful to look at, and i just love the arch its creating with its tail! and don't you find it amazing, how this species uses its legs? the front legs seem to be blissfully ignorant of what the hindlegs are doing: both sets of legs are hanging on to the branch for dearl life but entirely independent of each other! ; )) greetings, sabine.
