Lace Monitor in Ku-Ring-Gai National Park

This monitor fell out of a tree at my feet and then went looking for his meal giving me the opportunity to take several photos as he tried to eat a Cicada. The unusual thing about this Monitor is that he is blue, normally they are plain. He was very mobile and the only reason he allowed me to picture him was because he was young the older Monitors can grow two meter or more.
