Does it ever happen to you that the occasion is perfect, but the gear totally wrong?
I went out with my youngest son to the game park. There were some eland in a distance and some zebra ahead of me. I took a long zoom lense and started walking toward the zebras. As I looked around there were suddenly animals all over. The zebras to the right, some waterbuck ahead and the eland closed in behind me. All within about 20 meters! And all I had was a 170mm-500mm zoom lense. This was the only shot I could fit in.
It happens all the time my dear Friend! Now I know why to use 2 cameras..... But sometimes is impossible....
Anyway you caught the zebras very nicely, with a great light and an interesting atitude!!! Well done!

I have been there many times. Shooting bees with the macro lens and the hummingbird shows up 10 meters away. Nicely done with what you had at the time. -archie

Although, this wasn`t your favourite photo it`s a great B/W photography!
And I always have the problem that just when I put my camera back into my rucksack I`m going to meet the most interesting animals...
Like today, when i was an a "sunset hike" to a peak in our national park....

Daniel
Beautifully the both like themselves, really, very much!!! Nevertheless, friendship and love is most important in the world!!! A beautiful scene and a class admission!!!!
Dear greetings Schwarze Perle
Great composition of the two. Works well in b/w Cheers Jeni
Nice image for the tight spot you were in...I think that all nature photographers find themselves in this position more then once.... :-}) ... nice image of the zebras, and well presented in the monochrome tones..... I read once that a zebra's stripe pattern is as distenctive as fingerprints......best wishes, den
So GOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
