@Alle, wegen dem Voting in der com habe ich das Bild in eine andere Kategorie verschieben müssen. Dabei sind anscheinend einige auch kritische Komentare (z.B. die zu moderne, der alten Dame nicht angepassten schrägen Bildlage) gelöscht worden. Ich habe diese Kommentare NICHT manuell gelöscht und kann mir auch nicht erklären wie das passiert ist.

Doesn't work for me, i think the wrinkles has been too much overdone with the burn tool or such. I think the old womans character is somewhat lost in those overdone wrinkles. Almost like she's in a horror movie or something. The best photo is "Catalina I", which already have a star.

@Luc, I know it is hard to read all the comments during voting and especially for you guys because they are in German. Unfortunately you have missed the point of the eye, because there is no eye. Catalina has left only one eye. The left eye has shades and is exposed correctly. The right eye is not there and covered by the eyelid.

@Mikael, wrinkles are very deep and strong. This old Lady is 92 years old, should I work in Photoshop with beauty retouch ? The picture has been photographed in a hard sun and dark shadow condition. I have used Lightroom to increase the contrast a little to support the age of the old woman and the wonderful contrast situation. I have also decreased the colour saturation a little to create a more realistic look. No tool, no filter no Photoshop has been used for any further effect.

Contra is OK, Photography is not objective but subjective. But I felt it is necessary to explain a little that you guys based your accepted opinion on wrong facts.
