On a bitterly cold March day, with the chill factor well below freezing and a gale blowing, these hardy souls were not put off from their Sunday walk.

You breed them tough up there :-)) But as I know if you have a dog then walkies it must go come rain, snow or sun.
a well taken and converted picture

That's the real spirit.....!!

Leo_nid, 24.03.2013 at 18:35h

agree with Bryan.. dog owners have to be prepared to walk regardless of the weather... i did that for 14 years when my dog was alive and i do not regret a single walk, rain or snow, light or dark
great picture here, Lawson, perfect format and balance

Adele Oliver, 24.03.2013 at 20:16h

.... and neither were you, Lawson .... taking this fine image - but then, maybe you were hiding in your car :-))) a nice one - showing that dog owners take their responsibilities seriously and .... showing the rough seas !!
greetings, Adele

Nice shot. I like it.

Sue Thompson, 25.03.2013 at 8:52h

Hail, rain, blow or snow.......even all of these, they do not stop the dogs wanting their walk. The moral being.....if you do not like the wet and cold and freezing conditions......DO NOT get a dog :))))))))

Another superb shot and worth braving the elements for.

that windchill factor, yes, brr! but all bundled-up and ready to move, walk, run, play fetch and keep those dogs busy it can probably be a delight, too! i bet at the end of the day they will be exhausted but happy, returning home with windburnt cheeks and that urge to bathe in hot chocolate ; ) love the "stretched format" which in a way anticipates and reflects their resolute stride! greetings, sabine.

Braving the weather both photographer and the dog walkers ;-)) Harold

Even with the cold, seems to me that´s a fantastic place to walk. Great capture.
