Send Me A Star Tonight
My longing, my hunger for you
Is way beyond “sparrow’s” love with the “rose”..
Maybe it was the flower I picked up today…
Bringing all the memories of yesterday..
Ohh..how fast the days, the years have flown away
Since you have been through the gateway..
You would be amazed , if you had known the changes;
Winters became summer; summers winter…
People got weird; fighting and shouting more than ever.
I don’t know how it is, at your place
But…. believe me…it is impossibble to live here…
Don’t know who deluded you on that hot summer night..
To attend the caravan for your eternal flight..
You were my sun, my light
Who always made my days so loving and bright…
Ohhh.. Dad; please enjoy the paradise
Where your home is now,..high up in the skies..
I promise…tomorrow I will be smiling again..
But..please send me a star tonight
So, I catch it and keep in the depths of my heart….
