Invisible Rainbow

This image was taken under studio lighting conditions, I used the cross-polarized technique as to achieve the rainbow effect. NO retouching or special fx were applied! I did however adjust the contrast & balance as to improve the final image.

Most of us eat take-out foods at some point or another, to keep alive & going! This fork is a standard clear plastic fork (used by many food outlets & even sold at supermarkets & yet we mostly dump it in the bin, it is recyclable U know?

I first discovered it by wearing polarized sunglasses & then started wondering how I could capture such awesome colours, which I eventually mastered, after many weeks~months of trying? (The cross-polarized technique only works at certain times of day, due to the angles of light from the Sun towards Earth).

I knew that there was a secret locked in that little peace of cheap plastic & eventually this photo proves it!

So "Live" your "life", recycle, observe & change your point of view?

This subject matter is almost useless, uninteresting, un"alive" yet, it evokes a positive energy (like a flower does)! Just because we can now see it's latent rainbow spectrum of colours. It further doesn't suggest or depict violence, war, killing or hurting of nature nor any animals or people?
