It's a very interesting composition...the blue is cold and disturbing the warm effect of the earth colours...the protective shield is gone...

I"m a sucker for vibrant colors! Looks like the bird is sitting on the fence contemplating that long migration with the map in the background and the picture in a picture in a picture effect remembering the yearly journeys behind him.
