the Fine Art of Rejection

What is one to do? My little reactionary image inspired by a recent spate of rejections from magazines and museums/galleries. Apparently, if you spend a lot of time building up a personal, meaningful (at least to me) portfolio with themes of aging, fears of death, mortality, and surrealism, as well as some fine art nudes, none of that is good enough. However, if you paint a portrait of 60s era Mr. Spock naked, inexplicably with three hands, then that, my friends, THAT is worthy. Okay.
