Thee is soooooo much white/grey in this picture it is difficult to focus on your wood image, which should be the center of attention. However the composition does give a sense of loneliness which, I presume, is what you intended (?). regardsand welcome to fc, jeff

Yes, Jeff, you are absolutely right! I was struck by the sense of loneliness of the wood when I walked on the beach......and the position of the wood was a bit far away from the trees...that made me hard to decide from which angle I should take the photo...
