Suspicous droppings by Michael Lunse

Suspicous droppings

These medium sized rock formations are very odd - my imagination immediately hit on petrified dinosaur droppings.

I have no idea what they actually are except they are rocks 2.5-3 meters long, 80-100cm in diameter, red in color, laying in a bed of shale along the Sheep River in Alberta, Canada.

When seen at a glance they are dead ringers for giant droppings.

Very interesting...........it would be great to actually know. They could also have come from up river in a flood, whatever they are they do make an excellent foreground feature for this picture. Had it been my pic...think I would have cropped off that sky thus putting all the emphasis onto the colours of the trees and those boulders of dinasuar droppings :))))

Cheers
Sue
