Purple Rose.......

..............this one is for my dear friend Patricia, who said she never saw a 'purple' rose..... well vonya got home while I was photographing it and asked me what I was taking the picture of the ''LAVENDER'' rose for, and I had to inform her that Laney and I think it is 'PURPLE' and it was for Patricia because she hasn't seen a 'PURPLE' one, she just grinned like a possom with her hand in an egg jar, and walked away.........sometimes I wonder if that means that I win or that I'm just to stupid to argue with......

A rose in any other colour would be as sweet .........:))

They say that men only know about a dozen colors and women know 1000's. I was informed by one of my female students last year about the meaning of roses given by a boy to a girl. She went on and on about the meaning of the colors, the number, the length of the stem, etc. I just told her to not expect any man to know any of what she was talking about and be happy she got some flowers. I think Vonya gave you the same look I got that day. A great rose photo and beware, patricia will still say she has never seen a purple flower. ;-)) -Archie
