Tucked Away

Still at my picnic spot, at first I did not see the coot's nest neatly tucked away between some dead tree trunks. I was watching the coot at the side of the pond washing itself. She then got into the water, fetched her mate and swam to the nest. There are 4 breeding coots on the pond

The format gives the impression of sneaking into the birds' privat life.
As if you were hiding in an ornithologist's tent with only a small hatch to look through.
