"distinguished silver on display" – i think that's a literary quote describing a character's hair ; )), just don't remember what work it's from… popped up in my brain at the sight of this lovely monochrome still life! will google it, and add the source later, if i find it at all ; ))… greetings, sabine. p.s. can't find it – thought it was from irving's "the world according to garp", but maybe it's not…

A new favourite. I love the contrast between the pit dark black background and the shiny silver, how the texture of the engraved pattern comes through and how you arranged the spoons/forks. Very elegant!
