Thessaloniki,the second biggest city in Greece, is the capital of Macedonia. A city loaded with history since 315 BC when Kassandros married to King's Alexander the Great sister built it and gave to her his wife's name.

Presently Thessaloniki has all the prons and cons of any modern city but also an old section, The Old Town,that survives for more than two thousand years as a benevolent ghost and together with Saint Demetrius the Saviour, guard the city,secure her historical importance and perpetuate her existence towards an unknown and perilous future...
