Our Bus Driver
in Pago Pago / American Samoa .... friendly, non-chalant, in flip-flops (they shows in the linked photo), driving through the pouring rain - with a Bob Marley video blaring .... the 1 US $ fare dropped into a box AFTER the ride :-))))) We are still on a good road here - it got very bad after a while !!!

I'm glad you survived the ride. You have to wonder how more people don't get killed in those countries. It brings back memories of a bus ride I took in the Phillipines from our base to Manilla. All horns and pedal to the pedal.Regards

: ))))) what a ride! ; )) love how the sunny colors in the window and giant rectancular mirror above add to the reggae mood prevailing in the cockpit ; )! his utterly relaxed body language is great, with the arm resting casually on the wheel and his toes in flip-flops (so funny!) probably wiggling rhythmically to the music… i do love the added shot! that furry… voodoo-esque THING ; ))… in the middle: i think it's supposed to bewitch the money and make it multiply! ; )))) hugs, sabine.Mark Billiau. 17/01/2013 8:51
