dear glenn,your just the two of us series is not only a fine series, it is also an example of serious photojournalism: even though you cover a situation of hardship, one can not only see but feel the tenderness and love the mother has. and one can feel that the photographer is not stuck to the notion of neutrality and impartiality (if that were possible) but has taken more than just a glance at the two and has taken the pictures with sympathy and sensibility. i´m usually reluctant of make such a comparision, but it reminds me on some of w.smith and gene richard's work (not in the visual expression, but very much so in the purpose and the spirit).

Great eye contact with this young mother, I wish them luck.Still lots of questions still to be unanswered in this great thought provoking series of pictures.
How did she end up single and alone, no parents or fathers support ? An endless story of life I suppose :-(
Respect
