end of season releif.....
Aegean Sea Cyklades Santorini
Santorini...rejoices for the end of season and looks forward with releif to the coming winter months in order to relax and regain silence and peace. Her steeple and cavernous coasts, empty from intruders, will again turn dark and spooky, the crazy and piercing shouts of the crowds will be replaced by the most welcomed calls of the mating seagulls and the black pebbles of the thick volcanic sand will again reappear on the beaches happy to be, at last, releived from bodies,umbrellas, chairs and couches...The little colorful streets will again turn peaceful and hospitable to walk on. And these, that prefer to stand on top of the rock, at the edge of a steeple cliff gazing at the endless end of the Aegean horizon, stand a very good chance to enjoy one of those winter tempests with lightnings and thunders that seamen dread while crossing the Aegean Sea in winter.... And life goes on....

Dratted tourists....they keep the local ecconomy bouyant......but oh brothe are they a pain in the butt :)))))You paint a wonderful picture of this place when it is 'out of season' .....that is when I would love to visit and simply try to blend in with the surroundings, enjoying this place as the locals enjoy it.

Santorini is a wonderful place, photographed by everyone, but in this way I never admired, a masterpiece of light and shadow and high definition, b / w really excellent, so many compliments!saluti, Adriana
