The Middle Ages (63) : Girl of pleasure
This series is an attempt to illustrate how life was going on in the Middle Ages.
Of course, the oldest profession in the world also existed in the Middle Ages.
The father of this girl was the professional torturer from my picture below.
If a man didn't pay enough for the ‘work’ of his daughter, he came into conflict with the cruel torturer and, yes, he could even lose his …. well, you know what I mean :-))
Those were the days.

Das war sicher damals auch kein Zuckerschlecken, dieses Leben...Ich mag das Licht hier bei DEiner feinen Aufnahme sehr!
Viele der Frauen haben sich diesen Job sicher nicht ausgesucht - aber was blieb ihnen oft übrig, wenn der Ernährer von einer Krankheit dahin gerafft wurde oder er aber im Krieg geblieben ist.. -
